About me and what I'm looking for:
Describe myself to my potential match? Okay! Let’s see...charming, disarming, as beautiful as Sophia Loren at her prime! Smart, lithe, lovely, and no emotional baggage...self-assured, passionate, caring, perfect in every way. Oh, you want the truth! Well, maybe the Sophia Loren thing was just a teensy exaggeration. :-)
Alright, so I have two little flaws that I must confess...I read magazines backwards and I put mayo on peanut butter sandwiches. There, I said it. Fitness and physical attraction are important to me, so I work hard to offer the same. Main profile photo (bluejeans), kitchen photo (black skirt) and photo with sister are August 2006, long black ruffled skirt and lacy blouse are Sept. 2006. Others are 3 and 4 years old and the wildlife photography PR shot is from the late 1980s. The man-eating bears are photographed in my backyard.
I enjoy a challenge, and will seek out those who keep my mind stimulated, who touch me with their thoughtfulness and who don't take themselves (or me) too seriously. After some 30 great years, My husband and I had an amicable parting of the ways, and the divorce is now final. We split everything in two and my largest share is my mountain home (view of Shenandoah Valley from the hot tub!) where I do most of my wildlife photography.
My interests are wide ranging, including nature writing (3 Virginia outdoor guidebooks published), hiking, piano, guitar, tennis, ping pong, reading, and dropping by the SPCA to hug the puppy dogs. I once jumped out of airplanes, but prefer to ride them to the ground these days, and I am a former nationally rated basketball and volleyball referee, but now am content to throw backyard hoops with nephews.
